The Alexandria homeowner noticed some cracking in their brick foundation wall. They knew that this was a bad sign because they had seen Fortress ads showing the very same thing. They gave us a call to come out and give an estimate for the work needing to be done. This home was very special to the couple as they had raised their children in it and wanted their grandchildren to be able to make lasting childhood memories in it as well. They knew that they had to take care of these important issues should that want that dream to become a reality. We sent out one of our System Designers, Troy, and he created a custom solution for their property's needs. He recommended a push pier system, including 3 piers and brackets, that would lift the house back to its original positioning and close the gap beginning to form. The homeowners agreed to this solution, and soon after, our Forman AJ came out with his crew to install the push pier system. After it was completed, our customers were so glad to feel certain that they'd have many more years in their beloved home, and that their foundations were once again stable. 

Lance R. of Marriottsville, MD had an addition on his home that was sagging and beginning to pull away from the original structure. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions for help! System Designer Kurtis Toppert performed a thorough inspection and provided a free estimate for the solution for additional foundation support. Lance agreed and soon foreman Michael and his crew were on site installing Smart Jack XT’s. These are still beams installed to provide extra support. Now Lance does not have to worry and can enjoy the addition on his home!

This homeowner in Fulton, Maryland had an issue with the front porch cracking due to its foundation settlement. The homeowner wanted to restore the porch and ensure that it was safe from further issues caused by settlement. They called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a permanent solution. Our system designer prescribed our Helical Piers to stabilize the sinking porch. Helical Piers have helical plates welded to the pier shaft to help to pull the pier into the soil during installation and provide anchoring strength as the weight of the foundation or structural element is transferred to the pier. One of our crews soon went out to install the system. Once the porch was stabilized, we used our NexusPro Joint Sealant to fill in the cracks and restore the porch's aesthetic. The homeowners can no enjoy their porch again without worry!

A home in Crewe, VA was having settlement problems with the foundation. The floors were sinking, the doors were sticking, and the ceiling and walls were cracking. Fortress solved these problems by installing two Supplemental Beams and several SmartJacks in the crawl space.
