This Fishersville homeowner was dealing with both foundation settlement and a bowing basement wall. These structural issues threatened the stability of the home and required a permanent repair solution.
Tyler and his crew installed 3 Helical Piers to stabilize the settling foundation and 3 GeoLock Wall Anchors to reinforce the bowing wall and prevent further movement. As shown in the after photos, the home's foundation is now properly supported and the wall has been permanently stabilized for long-term protection.
A homeowner in Mathias, West Virginia, had a significant amount of standing water in their crawl space. They reached out directly to our System Designer, Adam, who conducted a thorough inspection.
Although Adam recommended a full crawl space encapsulation with SilverGlo™ insulation, a CleanSpace® vapor barrier, drainage matting, and a dehumidifier to protect the home's long-term health, the homeowner's primary concern was addressing the standing water.
Adam designed a water management solution centered around a SuperSump Plus system. The sump pump was installed to collect the water and discharge it approximately 20 feet away from the home's foundation, helping keep the crawl space dry and prevent future water accumulation.
This client already had a sump pump installed in crawl space, but was looking to make his crawl space even drier with a vapor barrier, so he called Fortress Foundation Solutions. Our System Designer, Chris Wilmouth, went out and gave him and estimate, which our client accepted, and shortly after, Charlie Evans and his crew went out and put down our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier all along the inside of the crawlspace. Our client loved the result and look of his clean, dry crawl space!
John was dealing with excess humidity in the crawl space beneath his Fort Defiance home. The damp conditions were creating concerns about moisture, air quality, and the long-term health of the space.
Warren and his crew installed a complete CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System, including a CleanSpace vapor barrier, SilverGlo wall insulation, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. As shown in the after photo, the crawl space is now dry, sealed, and protected from moisture, helping create a cleaner, healthier environment beneath the home.
Erin was dealing with high humidity in the crawl space beneath her home in Waynesboro, Virginia, which had caused the floor joists to weaken and the floors above to begin sagging. Wanting a permanent solution, she contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions for an inspection. Nate and his crew installed a complete crawl space encapsulation system featuring a CleanSpace vapor barrier, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and a new EverLast crawl space door. To restore structural support, the team also installed 7 SmartJack floor supports along with a supplemental steel beam.
