A homeowner in Monterey, Virginia had heavy mold growth and standing water in their crawl space. They called us here at Fortress Foundation Solutions to solve their problem. We got rid of all the mold with Mold X, and then installed a Smart Sump pump to to rid the crawl space of any water that would come in. Upon inspection, we found falling insulation, rotting and moldy joists, and a basic, ineffective plastic sheet on the ground. Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a perimeter TripleSafe sump pump, SaniDry dehumidifer, a total CleanSpace encapsulation, replaced the rotting joists, and installed SmartJacks for a permanent water-free and structurally stable home.
