The basement of this home in Charlottesville had bad water staining from years of repeated flooding. The homeowner reached out to Fortress for a solution to their flooding issue.

Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a SuperSump sump pump.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and be pumped out of the home. These products will ensure that this basement will not flood again!

This homeowner in Charlottesville reached out to Fortress for a permanent solution to their flooding basement.

Fortress went out to this home and installed our WaterGuard System along the perimeter of the home, along with a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. The WaterGuard will catch any water seeping in before it reaches the basement floor. Any water will then drain to the TripleSafe where it will pumped out of the home, keeping this basement dry!

These homeowners wanted to finish their basement, but had water intrusion that they needed to address first. They reached out and Sonny Kingsbury, System Designer, came out to provide them with a solution to address their concerns.  Foreman, AJ Looney and his crew went out to install the system and left the homeowner with the ability to finish their basement and make it a dry usable space! 

This customer's home was encapsulated by another company in 2017. In 2018, our customer purchased this home. Due to the poor installation of the previous company, they decided to have it re-encapsulated by us. This crawl space has multiple additions. The original foundation is made of flagstone. The addition on the home is cinderblocks. The crawl space was home to snakes and rodents. The house is also built on a hill, which created a very shallow opening between the ground and floor joists. 

Fortress Foundation Solutions removed the old, inefficient sump pump and vapor barrier, and then installed new drainage matting, CleanSpace liner, and a TripleSafe sump pump with battery backup and external discharge. We also used spray foam to insulate the flagstone, and we used insulation board for added insulation.
