Lydia F. of Hume, VA, called Fortress Foundation Solutions. She needed better access to her crawl space and wanted a free estimate for a new door. After completing his inspection, System Designer Paul Heckman provided a proposal for a heck-of-a-deal! Lydia was surprised to find that Fortress could remove part of the wall under a window and install a new door. The EverLast™ crawl space doors from Basement Systems are made from ½-in.-thick PVC plastic and are practically indestructible. Unlike wooden doors, EverLast™ doors will never warp, crack, shrink or require maintenance or painting. Heavy-duty weatherstripping provides an air and water tight seal. Once the installation knobs are tightened, the interior of your crawl space is fully isolated from exterior critters and conditions. Now Lydia can easily get into her crawl space and is confident it is well protected.
Gary S. of Paris, VA, called Fortress Foundation Solutions after his patio had dropped several inches. He met with Danny Camunas, system designer, who offered a same-day proposal to lift and stabilize the patio. Gary was ready to enjoy his outdoor area again and agreed. The next step was for the PolyLevel crew to come out, drill small holes into the concrete, inject PolyLevel foam and fill the holes back in. Now Gary and his family can enjoy their lifted and leveled patio again!
Tom K. had taken a look in his crawl space to see about some plumbing repairs and was shocked by the stinky, musty smell coming from it. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a free estimate. A System Designer met with Tom, inspected his crawl space and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace is in place to seal the home from the damp earth. Moisture and its damaging effects on the wood structure of the home are kept out. The final step is the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. It removes moisture from the air keeping the crawl space dry. When Tom looks into his crawl space now, it is clean, dry and he knows his home is protected!
Will G. of Charles Town, WV wanted to finish his basement, however water was coming into his basement with every rain. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions and made an appointment. A System Designer performed an inspection and using his moisture meter, could measure the high levels. He was able to give her a free estimate for a FlexiSpan. This is a flexible sealant that will never dry or crack and ensures a waterproof seal. Soon a Fortress Crew was at the home, and in a few hours the project was complete. Now when it rains, Will knows his basement will stay dry!
Chris L. called Fortress Foundation Solutions after hearing great things from a friend. His stone foundation leaked leading to mold and musty smells. A System Designer, met with him, explained the solution Fortress could provide, and offered him a same-day estimate. Eager to reclaim the use of his basement, he agreed. Shortly after, a crew was on-site installing a WaterGuard drainage system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a Triple Safe Sump Pump. Now, any water entering the home is drained to the Triple Safe and pumped out. Happy to be able to use his basement again, Chris is recommending Fortress to other friends.
