In the before photo, you'll notice how the unlevel patio in Marshall, VA was a concern for the homeowner. At Fortress Foundation Solutions, we recognized the need to restore both function and safety. Using our advanced solutions, we applied PolyLevel® to effectively stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs. To further enhance the longevity of the job, NexusPro® Joint Sealant was applied to seal cracks and prevent future damage. As you can see in the after photo, the patio is now level and stable. Homeowners in Marshall, VA, were experiencing significant settling around their concrete pool deck, creating a major safety concern. They reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions, and our System Designer, Jamey, performed a complete evaluation. After his inspection, he reassured the homeowners that they didn't need to replace their concrete - we could lift it instead.
That's exactly what we did. Our installation team, Ethan and Samuel, injected PolyLevel® foam beneath the slab in multiple areas to lift and level the concrete. Once the slab was restored, they sealed the remaining cracks with NexusPro® joint sealant to help prevent future water intrusion and soil washout.
Now, these homeowners can enjoy their pool all summer long without worrying about uneven concrete or safety hazards.
Logan, a homeowner in Charles Town, WV reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing moisture intrusion, strong musty odors, and visible mold growth on the basement walls. Our System Designer, Riley provided a free estimate and recommended a WaterGuard waterproofing system to address the water problem.
Fortress installed 65 feet of WaterGuard interior drainage and a SuperSump Plus sump pump system. WaterGuard collects water entering through the floor-wall joint along the basement perimeter and directs it to the sump pump for discharge. Together, these systems help keep the basement dry and reduce the moisture that allows mold to thrive.
Homeowner in Williamsport, MD had noticed significant settling of their concrete walkway. Once it reached a hazardous state they reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions to professionally repair it. System Designer Cara went out to address the settlement and sinking. She brought her measuring tools and determined an 8 inch void underneath the slab. She put together a reasonable proposal that aligned with the homeowners goals and budget and the proceeded with our solution. Ethan and Samuel came out to do the repairs and lifted and leveled the slab.
