Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

The crawl space of this home in Shenandoah was damp and moldy, and really needed some help!

Our System Designer, Paul Heckman, went out to this assess this crawl space and recommended that the best solution would be to install a complete CleanSpace encapsulation, SilverGlo Wall insulation, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.

This homeowner in Shenandoah called Fortress because they had water intrusion in their crawl space and floors in their home had started sagging. 

After explaining all the issues they were having over the phone, we sent one of our System Designers out to take a look! He recommended our SmartJack Crawl Space Support System. This system provides solid support for undersized beams and restores stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space. We also installed a complete CleanSpace encapsulation, a SmartSump sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to assure them that their crawl space would stay dry!

A home owner in Shenandoah, Va wanted to have his crawl space encapsulated to ensure it would be protected from any possible moisture getting into the area. We put up our Clean Space vapor barrier around the entire crawl space to act as a guard from moisture, insects, and rodents. We also installed a Sani Dry Sedona dehumidifier to control the humidity levels. 

Phil H. called Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing musty smells coming from his crawl space. He had another company encapsulate his crawlspace previously, but they had left some areas open. A System Designer met with Phil, inspected his crawl space and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace keeps out moisture and The SaniDry Sedona removes moisture from the air keeping the crawl space dry. Now Phil's has home is protected!

A customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions because they were concerned about moisture in their crawlspace. Crawl spaces are built on top of the earth. Most are not encapsulated with open, exposed dirt. This dirt contains the moisture that is naturally occurring in the ground. Many times water will actually pool inside the crawl space, causing mold, mildew and nasty smells. Our EZ Flow pipe fixes this problem. It will drain the ground water carrying it to the sump pump. This keeps pools of water from forming, keeping the earth dry.
