This home was in need of extra support to fix the sagging floors that have developed overtime. Our System Designer, Danny Camunas, provided the homeowners with a simple solution that would put their worries at ease.
Foreman, Andre Luck (Lucky), and his crew completed this project of four Smart Jacks that will lift the floors in this home permanently.
This homeowner contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions because the floors in there home were starting to sag and each time it rained, they would receive water in their crawl space.
Fortress informed the customer that their home was in serious need of our SmartJacks Crawl Space Stabilizer. This system is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging floors. SmartJacks can also often lift failing floor joists or beams, restoring them to their original position.
We also installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier along with our SmartSump to assure this homeowner that they would no longer receive water in their crawl space.
This homeowner in Port Republic called Fortress because they had water intrusion in their crawl space and floors in their home had started sagging.
After explaining all the issues they were having over the phone, we sent one of our System Designers out to take a look! He recommended our SmartJack Crawl Space Support System. This system provides solid support for undersized beams and restores stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space. We also installed a complete CleanSpace encapsulation, a SmartSump sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to assure them that their crawl space would stay dry!
This homeowner in Galax contacted Fortress with concerns about their home's foundation. Stair-step cracks is an indicator of foundation sinking and settling. System Designer, Chris Guill, went out for a full evaluation. He determined the home needed foundation repair.
Our crew installed 10 Push Piers to lift and stabilize that foundation. Push Piers are installed next to the footings and attached with a heavy duty steel brackets. Soil is backfilled around the piers once stabilization and lifting is complete to finish the installation.
This home in Toms Brook had foundation walls that were cracked, concerning the homeowner. They reached out to Fortress for a solution to stabilize and support their foundation.
