This Blacksburg, VA homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions because they were receiving water in their crawl space each time it rained, no matter how light the rain was, causing an odor!
After scheduling an appointment, one of our System Designers went out to do an evaluation on their home. He found out where the water was coming in from and provided the homeowner with a permanent solution to fix the problem.
Fortress installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to keep out any water that would try to push through along with our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to assure this homeowner that there would no longer be a musty smell throughout their crawl space!
This home in Blacksburg had issues with the foundation, the semi-basement, and the crawlspace. The basement was leaking, the crawlspace was moldy, and the walls were bowing. Fortress solved these issues by installing a full perimeter WaterGuard with a SuperSump System for the basement, a CleanSpace Encapsulation in the crawlspace, and CarbonArmor Straps to stabalize the foundation.
